Senior Account Executive
Ready to step up in your MedComms career? Join us as a Senior Account Executive and take the lead on high-impact projects while building strong client relationships.
Our Senior Account Executives play a vital role within the Account Management Team, ensuring the smooth coordination of active projects as they progress through internal teams. They also provide essential support to Account Managers.
The role will involve
- Take ownership of the day-to-day management of multiple client accounts and projects, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and to a high standard
- Lead internal project briefings and proactively manage timelines, resources, and potential issues across departments and suppliers
- Build trusted relationships with client contacts; act as a regular point of contact and confidently manage client communications
- Draft and deliver accurate and insightful contact reports, status updates, and budget trackers, demonstrating a strong grasp of project goals and commercial awareness
- Proactively contribute to internal and client meetings, offering ideas, solutions, and identifying opportunities to add value
- Work closely with the Account Manager and/or Account Director to ensure timeline and on-budget delivery of projects
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance, quality checks, and sharing best practice
- Take the lead on smaller projects or workstreams from briefing to delivery, with support as needed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent), preferably in biomedical sciences; scientific literacy required
- At least one years worth of experience in a medical communications agency environment at Account Executive level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
- Proven organizational and planning abilities
- Proactive mindset with problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
