We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Senior Account Manager to provide support on a project basis within our Medical Communications team. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day coordination and delivery of client work, helping to keep timelines on track, briefs clear, and stakeholders aligned.

This role is ideal for a freelancer who can quickly get up to speed, manage multiple workstreams, and collaborate confidently with internal teams and clients. We need someone who is a go-getter and is used to operating at a high level. 

Key info:

• Rate: competitive
• Contract length: 1st Sept - 30th November. 
• Days/week: minimum of 4 days, ideally full time.

The role will involve

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of assigned client projects, ensuring work is completed on time, on brief, and within budget
• Confidently liaise with clients and internal teams, keeping communication clear and consistent across all stakeholders
• Coordinate timelines, meetings, and status updates to ensure projects remain on track and expectations are managed
• Draft and maintain accurate project documentation, including status reports and timelines
• Work closely with Content, Creative, and Digital teams to support the successful execution of materials
• Identify potential issues early and work with relevant team members to resolve them proactively

To be considered for this freelance role, you will need the following skills and experience

• Medical communications agency experience at Senior Account Manager level is essential
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence in working directly with clients and managing stakeholder expectations
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new teams or therapy areas
• UK-based with availability during core UK working hours
• Set up for freelance work (e.g., Ltd Company or sole trader)
• We operate outside of IR35
