At Scientific Group, we’re seeking a talented and experienced Medical Writer 3 to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in medical communications who is ready to take the next step in their career.
We’re looking for a confident communicator and strategic thinker with broad scientific expertise and proven editorial leadership. As a key contributor to our medical writing team, you’ll play a central role in delivering high-quality content, guiding peers, managing complex deliverables, and strengthening client relationships. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while proactively supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders.

What you will be doing:
Producing accurate, concise, and engaging content across a range of formats and therapy areas.
Interpreting and integrating scientific data from multiple sources, ensuring high standards of scientific accuracy.
Supporting client interactions and providing medical writing support for meetings (virtual or on-site)
Using PowerPoint to create and edit slides with creativity and visual impact.
Taking ownership of defined aspects of team projects, collaborating to meet timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
Contributing to mentoring junior writers and supporting internal knowledge-sharing.
Providing input to business development activities.
What you need to bring:
Proven experience in a medical communications (med affairs) agency is essential.
Agency experience is essential; academic experience alone will not meet the requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A passion for communicating science to improve patient outcomes.
A life science degree (or equivalent) is essential; higher degrees are desirable.
Experience in immunology or cardiometabolic health
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
